The ‘sausage wars’ came to Brexit this past week, along with a diplomatic démarche targeting the UK government, but the really important development was what was not being done. HM Treasury provided a statement suggesting that it has not even begun to assess different jurisdictions for equivalency decisions needed to implement elements of the Overseas Funds Regime.
